Sustainable Development

Armenia’s reality is marked by continuous violations of the principles of Sustainable Development. We pay little attention to the social and intergenerational justice, environment protection and fair economic redistribution focusing only on economic growth. Moreover, the public policy-making processes are far from being participatory and as a result the influence of the civil society on the public decision-making in is still rather low. Through Education and Training for Sustainable development APY promotes the economical and efficient use of resources, the thoughtful treatment of the environment and the responsibility towards future generations.
