Active Citizenship

Supporting and inspiring young Armenians to develop leadership skills and to take their civic responsibility is one of the main goals of APY. By means of various activities, trainings and work with youth we try to enhance active citizenship and stimulate young people’s involvement in their local communities, from villages to towns and cities. In new fragile democracies like Armenia, active citizenship is one of the most important steps towards responsible and healthy society.

I learnt to be more independent and free in APY. I understood who I am and what I want. I recommend everyone volunteer with APY because it’s amazing to realise that your little help makes the world beautiful
