APY is a non-profit, non-political organization aiming to support, inspire and engage young people from Armenia and all over the world to develop their social leadership skills, to take their civic responsibility and to act as change-makers. Through our projects, initiatives and non-formal education tools we help young people to succeed, ensuring that they develop their knowledge, skills, attitudes and competences to fit the modern world. Our organization believes that progressive, educated, skillful, open-minded and engaged young people possess all the power to become actors of change in Armenia and beyond. Because youth is not only the future, but the present!
Who can join?
Young people aged 15-30 who wish to participate in the organization's activities and share its values are eligible for membership.

Benefits of membership
As an APY member, you will have the opportunity to:

Join one of the largest youth organizations in Armenia.

Gain knowledge and experience in the public and youth sectors.

Network and build new connections.

Participate in non-formal educational courses, youth programs, and cultural or entertainment events organized by APY (active participants will also have the opportunity to join international programs).

Organize and participate in informational events related to environmental protection, sports, and healthy lifestyles.

Get involved in event planning and organization at APY, enhancing your skills in this area.

Contribute to the planning of cultural and entertainment events within and beyond APY.

Contribute to promoting APY programs and assist in running social media campaigns by creating engaging and creative content for the organization's media platforms.

Be part of positive change at local, national, and international levels.

Receive references from the organization when applying for work, study, or other opportunities (applicable only if actively involved in the organization’s work).
Membership Requirements
If selected, members are expected to:
Complete a minimum of 40 volunteer hours at the organization within a year.
Attend at least 5 training sessions initiated by the organization.
Lead or participate in at least one initiative (e.g., movie screenings, book discussions, training sessions, etc.).
Join one of the four core teams:
Media and Public Relations: Content creation for social media, press release drafting, organizing media events/campaigns.
Event Management: Planning, logistical support, and execution of events.
Healthy Lifestyle and Environment: Organizing and conducting campaigns, cleanup actions, sports activities, informational meetings on healthy living, and environmental initiatives.
Culture and Entertainment: Organizing cultural seminars, film screenings, and entertainment events.

10,000 AMD
Important
Failure to meet these requirements will result in ineligibility to participate in the year-end certificate awarding ceremony.
