“Armenian Heritage and Memory Beyond the Borders” has been prepared by Umut Erdem and designed by Fulya Berrak as part of their European Voluntary Service at Armenian Progressive Youth.
The publication aims to introduce Armenian feminists having lived in Turkey in the last period of Ottoman Empire and the early period of the establishment of Republic of Turkey, especially utilizing to a great extent the works of Lerna Ekmekçioğlu and Melissa Bilal that have been lasting for over 10 years. It also aims to indicate the initiatives that have been made so far for the revival of Armenian memory in Turkey. Therefore it consists of 2 parts.
